How to find a balance as entrepreneur

An entrepreneur has limited time for everything, but as busy as you can be, it is very important to always set time to take care of yourself, rest and relate with your family.

Entrepreneurship, as an occupation has everything but balance, so finding a rhythm on a highly competitive market can be really hard, which caused entrepreneurs to get tired pretty soon, but there are ways to make it possible, and we will show you how here.

“An entrepreneurs usually have a very busy agenda, which usually makes it harder to make enough time in a day for everything, such as enjoying a good book, spending time with the family or even making a hobby, but without these distractions, the daily life can get to be really stressful”, said Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal, a Mexican entrepreneur and current president of Grupo Denim.

Here are some tips that can help you finding the balance you are looking for as an entrepreneur:

  • Replace your to-do lists with routines – Many of us use these lists to check on whatever is pending to be done, but if you replace them for routines, you will see a great difference, as you will be able to make everything on time, without needing a list that has to be reviewed 20 times a day.
  • Take times to meditate – Entrepreneurs usually spend much time with their own thoughts, thinking or analyzing, but they also need time to rest from themselves, take a break and use it to meditate, this is also an opportunity to let your mind rest.
  • Take care of yourself – For an entrepreneur, taking care of his health can be really difficult, but exercising and eating well is an important as any other daily habits, this also helps reducing stress, which causes plenty of health issues.

“Finding a balance means to make all important issues and it is not all about business only, but to have time to see your family, going out, resting from technology, there is enough time for everything if you are well organized”, added Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal about this topic.
